GF-2008W GPRS IP MODEM(DTU) is a plugand play communication Terminal for connecting any equipment withRS232/485 interface port to the Internet ,Including all thesoftware and hardware components needs to transfer informationremotely via the GPRS mobile networks .GF-2008W unleashes the powero****M for a large range of equipment.

GF-2008W GPRS IP MODEM(DTU) is a newdesigned platform, supports GPRS network. There are manyimprovements, such as industrial class pluggable terminal, embeddedRTOS and embedded TCP/IP stack driving by AT+I command interfaceand Enhanced EMI design.

GF-2008W GPRS IP MODEM(DTU) enablesvarious kinds of legacy devices with serial port to communicateover GPRS network and the Internet easily and freely. It not onlyworks as a GPRS Modem, but also can construct a smooth "GPRS DataTunnel" between Host End and Remote End, ensuring an efficientcommunication for data transmission and remote device management.With 1 selectable RS-232/TTL/485 serial port, GF-2008 GPRS DTU isan ideal solution for factory automation, environmental monitoringand remote device management for M2M industry. Meanwhile, it issupplied with simple software interface that streamline applicationdevelopment process, freeing system integrators from dealing withcomplex communication protocols of GPRS and the Internet. Users donot need to change the existing system, saving cost and time forfield maintenance, and making it a perfect solution for datatransmission.
